So you are interested in NFP, but are not sure where to start? We are here to help!

Step 1: Choose a method

There are four methods of NFP taught in the Archdiocese of St. Louis. You can learn about the different methods here. We highly recommend choosing the method that you think will work best for you with your lifestyle and preferences.

Step 2: Attend a NFP introductory session

Each method regularly hosts introductory sessions and the schedule can be found below. Follow individual instructions for registration. In general, the intro course is often taught in a group setting, but subsequent follow ups with an instructor are conducted privately (method dependent).

Please note, an intro course in one of the methods of NFP is required for marriage prep in the Archdiocese of St. Louis. Ideally, the sooner you start learning the better! We suggest attending the session 3-6 months prior to your wedding to allow time for learning and practicing the method.
