What is the mission of the Wonder of Eve?

  • Encourage and empower women to be advocates for their own gynecologic health
  • Inform young women on the benefits of awareness of their reproductive system and learning to appreciate it

Who is the intended audience of the Wonder of Eve?

The Wonder of Eve is directed towards young women of high-school age, approximately 14-18 years old. And of course, mothers are encouraged (but not required!) to attend as well.

We present the Wonder of Eve in:

  • Health classes
  • Theology/Religion classes
  • Counseling groups
  • Youth Ministry groups
  • Mother-Daughter groups
  • Parishes
  • Homeschooling groups

Who presents the Wonder of Eve?

We have found the best presenters are dynamic and engaging physicians, registered nurses, FertilityCare Practitioners, or Natural Family Planning teachers. It is helpful to have a professional health background to answer questions that may come up from participants.

Can mothers attend the presentation with their daughters?

Absolutely! We encourage mothers to attend the presentation with their daughters.

How long is the presentation?

The presentation is about 1 hour in length (including time for Q&A).

Is this presentation in accord with Catholic Church teaching?

Yes! The presentation has received an Imprimatur.

In accordance with CIC 827, permission to publish has been granted on February 16, 2022, by the Most Reverend Mark S. Rivituso, Auxiliary Bishop, Archdiocese of St. Louis. Permission to publish is an indication that nothing contrary to Church teaching is contained in the publication or a general endorsement of any author; nor is any liability assumed by this presentation.

Is this presentation delivered virtually or in-person?

Either! You can book one of our speakers to present to your audience in-person (Archdiocese of St. Louis only) or virtually. To schedule, please contact Alli Coiro at stlnfp@archstl.org or call 314-991-7576.

The Wonder of Eve is offered free of charge for those in the Archdiocese of St. Louis thanks to the generous contributions to the Annual Catholic Appeal.

If you are outside of the Archdiocese of St. Louis and hope to present it more than once, we recommend you purchase a license of the material and present it yourself.

How much does the Wonder of Eve License cost?

The Wonder of Eve license costs $400. Contact the office (stlnfp@archstl.org) for specific questions regarding cost.

If I host a virtual presentation or purchase the license for my own event, can I charge an admission fee? 

Yes, you may charge what you see fit for your event. This will help offset your investment.
